Refunds & Returns

RETURNS POLICY

Foster & Black offers a hassle-free returns and exchange policy that lets you exchange some purchased items provided that they meet the following conditions:

  • Returns are within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Items are unused and show no signs of use, wear or damage and are returned in the original packaging.

Our returns and exchange policy does not include the cost of return shipping. This must be borne by the customer as we are unable to cover the shipping costs associated with change of mind purchases – please choose items carefully when ordering.

Gift Cards or Gift Vouchers cannot be returned.

REFUND POLICY

We will happily offer the refund of a purchased item(s) if it meets any of the following conditions and proof of purchase is provided:

  • It is physically faulty or damaged and the fault/damage amounts to a major failure of the product. You are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality but the failure does not amount to a major failure. Foster & Black will determine the extent of the failure.
  • The incorrect item was shipped or does not match the represented description of the item.
  • The item was out of stock or unavailable at the time the order was placed.

There are no refunds or exchanges available on:

  • Sale items
  • Gift Cards or Gift Vouchers
  • Perishable goods (except where the Happiness Policy applies)

HAPPINESS POLICY

We want you to love our coffee as much as we do. If you are unhappy with the taste of your coffee beans ordered from our online store, we will happily refund your purchase if the beans are returned within 7 days to our Roastery location at 628 Wickham Street, Fortitude Valley and Foster & Black has been contacted via email at pause@fosterblack.com.au with your intent to return and proof of purchase.

Foster & Black is not liable for any loss of goods by Australian Post (or equivalent postage or freight companies) in the process of delivery to you. However, in some cases for product that does not arrive, Foster & Black may issue a discretionary refund. In those cases, a credit will be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

In all other cases, refund requests will be considered on a case by case basis.

All refund claims must be made by contacting us via pause@fosterblack.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order.
